Route
I'll post the current plan for the route (going counter clockwise, in/around London on Friday/Saturday). If anyone feels inclined, they can always drop a PM.
@Eejit: Wouldn't really be able to tell you how they perform off road, mostly replaced my MTB tyres with the Big Apples because I was riding paved most of the time.

Looks like you may pass near my parent’s if that’s your route.
If you do go through Shropshire, call in Cafe Eleven in Ruyton XI Towns and tell Karen (the owner and my mum) that Phil recommended the cafe and you liked the sound of it that much that you came all the way just to go there. -
And indeed you'll be passing relatively close to me (Walsall way); if you want some company for the day's ride, and/or a bed/meal for the night, drop me a PM.

Why Durham? It's a nice place, just seems an odd choice for a visit. Visiting someone? Having said that if your other option is Middlesbrough, you have chosen... wisely

Make a thread you fool! Routes, places, and what you're looking to do. Pretty sure wherever you go, there will be a forumenger to explore and bum around with. If I were still in london, mi casa es su casa!
