why I said I kinda agree.
maybe I should have kept the philosophy out of it, but if you can make your style of play work, or adapt it to work in lower league conditions, then you have the confidence to know with better/more technical players, you can make it work higher up. Whether that's the way it works in reality is another thing.
But like I said originally if he does get the job I hope he does well. Would be good to see another black manager in the football league/premier league
Well there you're just heading into a chicken and egg argument.
Surely coaching an ambitious side, currently playing below their true level, is an ideal place to be testing your "philosophy", instead of being forced to defend backs to the wall in 4 out of 5 games and having your style of play dictated by the opposition.
