The problem is these hosers never chase in third week. They just stare at each other and try and protect their top 5 places. Only Contador had the win or bust mentality

Froome had a history of being able to take minutes out of all the GC contenders on a targeted stage.
Don’t think it will be today, unless he does a monster attack over the top and a daredevil descent to try and gain time.
Regardless of whether Geraint stays in yellow, Froome will want to increase his gap on Dumoulin ahead of the TT.

Presumably if Froome attacks, then whoever counterattacks will tow Thomas up to him. If someone else attacks then the rest of the pack will tow Thomas and Froome up to them. It really is Thomas'race to lose at this point.
