id be taking a spare hanger over a spare cable, you can pedal without a cable, you cant pedal so well without a hanger, and every bike shop in the world, i hope, has cables...

Bike has a MTB style hanger which is pretty thick. Anyway, I've got exactly one million other things left to do in preparation like sorting out the front mech so the chain doesn't rub on it and work out where all the other rattles are coming from. When it snaps and my hopes and dreams come crashing down, you can say I told you so.

I'm going to need to re do my route through Croatia into Bosnia. Proposed route looked fucking hilly and quite blue on the heat map.
Now have one of each type of cable and a good selection of bolts including spare chainring bolt courtesy of local biek shop. New tyre lever time too. No rear mech hanger though. Mines pretty beefy anyway.
