What’s wrong with knog?
-
• #4503
That’s the one. I haven’t used it in months so couldn’t remember if it mounted to the rails or the saddle, and was too lazy to get up and walk 4 steps to look.

Here in Londres Sud it is too hot for 4 steps :)

Cateye front mount and the rear one can mount on your seatpost or saddle.

Who’s around in London next weekend?!
-
• #4510
Yup
-
• #4511
Which handlebar ends are those? Do they affect the fold?
-
• #4512
They're Lifeline Ergo grips. No issue with the fold.

Keep an eye out for a demo bike and a m6 lagoon blue + baby!

If I dont do DD I'll be there .. are you racing @umop3pisdn @Dick ?
-
• #4515
Unfortunately not.
Kinda wish I’d done the Nocturne again, and signed up for the world champs, as with the current volume of brompton riding im doing I doubt there’ll be a better time.

Second round of subtle upgrades.
58T chainring makes the world of difference.
Only noticed on changing over the chainring that I was missing the hidden bolt....

No bling gumwall? Look super tidy btw!
-
• #4520
Is it the 130bcd? Did you need to get the bolts too? And how many links is your chain?
-
• #4521
Chain is 102 links
You can buy the bolts with the chainrings for an extra £5/10(can’t remember exactly) but they don’t include one of the hidden bolts - I had to use an extra long Dura ace bolt I had spare from a triple chainset I butchered for the last brompton for that.
No gumwall yet @HoKe they’ve lost their hype now any Tom Dick and Andy (@umop3pisdn) can buy them!
Plus I never clean the brompton so don’t want to have to start getting precious about it!
Just need to pop some black levers on it, black brake calipers, some nicer easy wheels, and a second black hinge clamp, different saddle, and I think I’ll leave it alone...

I'd fold that ring under my sick watts
-
• #4523
My thoughts also - it’s a little flimsy.
My 5s Power is about 1350W - if it doesn’t fold under that then I’ll be impressed.
Initial thoughts are, it feels surprisingly solid.

Just got you a free set of brand new 2018 brakes... will send more details in a mo, the guys at the DD this weekend not bwc
-
• #4525
What is actually different about the 2018 brakes?
The cateye rear one mounts to the saddle itself - I'm not aware of one which mounts to the rails.

But it has to be a 2016 (or later) saddle - with a threaded insert moulded into the underneath of the saddle.
