I don't like bladed grinders very much. Krups do a cheap burr grinder I recently bought. I was initially unhappy with the fine grind setting as I wasn't getting a fine enough grind to produce the marbled crema on the espresso, so I basically forced the fineness knob towards fine trying to will it better - I felt a snap and the knob gave way. Turned it 90 degrees beyond the most fine setting - perfect grind, perfect extraction.

I had a cheap delonghi burr grinder before I got my Rocky and it was the same out of the box. There's a hack you can do to it on youtube that takes 2 minutes and gets you a much finer grind. Was perfect for making espresso with a pressurised portafilter.
But yeah stay away from blades, they don't grind they chop.
Is it possible to get a decent grind from a Krups bladed grinder?
So far I’m gettin dust, or uneven chippings and I’m not sure how to get nice coffee from either of those.
I can see it getting relegated to grinding ‘spices’.
