Here’s how it’s looking right now (chain slack because i’ve cut the chain for 1t more on the front) Riveted on front mech hanger’s a bit weird. Just assumed it was removable.

Just assumed it was removable.

It is removable, you just need a drill. And possibly a chisel. I know a few people have removed them, sometimes they just fall off after you've drilled out the rivets, sometime they take a bit of prying off due to some glue backing up the rivets.
