Is there anywhere in town where I might be able to test ride a cross check or straggler in 64cm and/or 62cm size?
-
• #1054
So I should have got the 650b not the 700 then...

Call Brixton Cycles? Outside chance they have one in stock
-
• #1056
Yeah, was thinking that might be my best bet; will see if they have anything suitable.

LHT in this year's yicky colour. I swapped all the bits over from my old Hewitt Cheviot. The LHT is much better than the Cheviot when loaded.

Left the Steamroller at home yesterday and went for a thrash around the woods on the 1x1 instead. It encourages you to ride like a hooligan and even when you come in waaay too hot, still manages to get you out the other side!

Yeh I used to love mine, was mega easy to ride. Until the time it nose dived a jump at hamsterley forest in December, dumped me in an icy puddle and I had a 10 mile spin home to get really cold. Why did I sell it!

Hi All,
Just giving you the heads up before I put an ad out on the main classifieds. Will shortly be selling my Steamroller to make space for a new bike which is incoming.
Spec is:
53cm Colorado Red F+F, currently running a Kinesis Carbon Disc fork with bags of clearance and a Shimano SLX hydraulic disc set up with a 160mm rotor. Finishing kit is mostly BLB CNC stuff in black, 46t up front and DA 16 and Surly 15 cogs on the back. Rims are currently Archetype on the back and the front will either be an Archetype or Gigantex 38mm full carbon laced to a blue Hope Pro4. Everything is in really good condition, with a tiny bit of discolouration on the frame where a frame bag rubbed, but you have to look for it.Looking to clear £650 for it. Let me know if you’re interested.

- How tall are you?
- Do you have any pics of it built up?
- What's that TT sticker?

It's sold (I bought it).

Alright then; how tall are you (and have you been injured in an accident that wasn't your fault)?

Looking good. I actually got a bit emotional when I dismantled this bike prior to selling... We've had some good memories!
Glad you're enjoying it!

Possibly true in hindsight

Good looking CC! For a second I thought it was a picture of mine in one of it's previous incarnations.

Thanks!
Accidentally near identical it would seem!
Something up with the headset, bars not straight or something bent maybe? Mine's been steering great
