tempted to buy a pair for gravel duty but not sure about XD driver. Can I run an 11/28 or 11/32 cassette on that?
-
• #2678
You'd have to get either a replacement freehub for shimano . Not sure if they have in their parts section. Otherwise run a sram XD specific cassette, which are usually wider range 1x type cassettes (large).
On my gravel I have an 11-42 cassette XD driver for example.

I just recieved a set of the Fulcrum Red Power 29" Wheels - £92 delivered. I'm very impressed, thought not ridden them yet.

Same here but don't know anything about this XD stuff. Cassettes don't appear to come in 10 speed and wouldn't want to switch to 11 speed just to get a cheap wheelset... Anyone know if other freehubs will fit these px hubs??

What's the internal width of the rim?
-
• #2682
Says on the description:
Width: 19mm Internal
-
• #2683
Yes, I missed that; "unfashionably narrow".

Hardly

Going to pick those up at lunchtime. Delivery took 2 weeks.
Received an email saying that my "front" hub has arrived. I am starting to think that it is not a pair but just a badly listed front hub...

Agreed

19mm. They looked wider, but I've put tyres on so can't check now.

Shit. Prices have gone UP!!! overnight on the bits I was after. Ugh. Another week to wait.

PlanetX free shipping until Sunday! Madness. If you were prevaricating before now is surely the time to go for it.
Excluding bikes/frames/wheels though.
Edit: oh wait, looks like that sale has ended as all the prices have gone back up to non-Fibonacci numbers? It was too good to be true.

• #2692
All those roubaix liage tyres are back up to full price or the same price as before plus postage.
-
• #2693
Yep, was tempted to buy another set of rims/tyres but prices are all normal again. Oh well, I shouldn't be wasting money on bike parts anyway

planet X pricing is more stressful than love island

I was debating one of the fsa powerboxes. Another £20 hmm

Lolz, they’re all over the place.
I bought these which weren’t even discounted that much. Just wanted a threadless set for a while

• #2698
Almost got a set of these. Kind of regret not pulling the trigger.

They must employ some idiots. Choices are "clamp on type" or "no clamp"
-
• #2700
I don't disagree that the people writing the descriptions seem to be morons, but looks the "no-clamp" option means quill stem? Which I guess is technically accurate, albeit not helpful at all...
I have had a pair for over a year (with the shimano free hub) and they've been fantastic.
