fuck knows why the picture is one of those half finished/half just a pile of the ingredients with a bit of artful/devil-may-care spillage. rather than a picture of the actual dish. the recipe says you stir the pasta into the blitzed up yoghurt, garlic and peas (i added lemon juice cos my yoghurt was low far greek stuff). Anyway. It was great.

Just back from a weekend to see the family in Dublin. If you’re over there you could do worse than check out Dollard & Co for brunch and their sister restaurant Tomahawk downstairs in the basement for dinner. Porterhouse just round the corner on Parliament Street finishes off the evening nicely with a great selection of own draft brews and a big list of bottles from around the globe.

Made this twice this weekend. I added cabbage, cucumber etc to make more of a slaw second time around. Very good and pretty simple to make.

Not sure I want to post this because it may extend the queue but... if you find yourself in the vicinity of Waterloo at lunchtime, I highly recommend you give these guys a visit.
The beef knuckle and the lamb are uh-mazing.

Missus and I have want to eat more fish, and be slightly more adventurous than smoked haddock, cod and prawns.
What’s people’s go to fish book? Should I just go rick stein? Or are they other more modern alternatives?
Thanking you.. -

Hugh and Rick are pretty solid on that front as far as books go.
Being a soon-to-be-Plymouth-local I suppose I should invest in some Tonks.

Haven't picked up a copy of this yet but suspect there'll be plenty of tasty things in it based on my visits:

What the hell does that even mean?
And why would you pay to have your food garnished with it?
