  • @Scilly.Suffolk > I predict an uptick in the number of white forum bikes...

Thanks @NorthLondonLight for the Turbo !!!

  • he is a man who is obsessed with tinkering with his bike...

  • When are you selling that to me?

  • This is the only frame that is my size in all my collection ^57 ><54

  • Two projects sorted out today: the first is a 531 Mixte I've built up for my mums birthday as a super comfy town cruiser

Second is me rejoining the geared game, a Klein Quantum with full Dura Ace 7700 and Thomson bits

  • Looks like this Brandon Mcnulty guy is rocking the #gaston_approved reverse setback post (12:34)

  • If you have a small torso compared to the legs like me and no problem of knees, to try it is to adopt it.

It took 10 years but ALBG is now common
now mix old ™ saddle adjustment and ALBG and you have the trick pair to go faster.
(chain is on C40 Mapei for now )

    Adam Hansen

    Chris Froome

    Brandon Mcnulty

  • @gaston any history/details on the Mercier?

  • I tried, I really tried to resist this, but this afternoon my failure was manifest, and I found myself on route to Romford.

New saddle, hoods, tyres, bar-tape and saddle and we’ll be good to go.

  • Wow that's gorgeous, I see your problem.

  • Not really info on the frame for me it's Genius/Brain/EL/OS MIX with perfectly nice fillet brazed lugs,,,, probably one of the last frame do in France before Mercier becomes a US factory
Surely a pro custom bike and there is the small plate to fix the racer number...
Too big for me but awesome frame BTW

You only need one saddle you know. ;)

    Looking good!

  • You only need one saddle you know. ;)

  • I like how you have so many bikes and only one of them is actually your size. ;) this is really a non-standard thinking... a passion. Hope they still get ridden by the family/friends ;)

  • <3

I never ride on the only frame that is exactly my size the TT 80'bike 57ST 54Top Tube

Do you know a lot of bike with this geometry?
I give bikes to my friends and family sometimes
Many of my bikes are setup for my use and my morphology...

Right now I ride a lot with the Colnago Mexico VMB to go photocopy at the town hall...
I want to make the VMB fashionable then I refining my Columbus MAX
To bring my daughter to school I take my Nemo Randonneuse with the trailer.
For shopping at the supermarket the Cannondale RGR.
The windy days and for a ride to Bel air I take my C40 Mapei Rec 10s.
To make my political propaganda I take my longboard.
To split the wind and make more than 100km I take the Tarmac >7kl
Have a CX a MTB a BMX a TT a bike that has won a tour de France to be credible in the game...

To save the city from diesel and make young people want to buy a bike I make hip hop fixies.
To save the country sides from carbon dioxide and make people want to buy bikes I make Campag SR builds like.
I collect complete groupset, so I use the frames that I find cheap on the internet to serve as support for these last ones even if they are not my size. And sell some at the opportunity, I declared my company and I pay taxes when I sell stuff...

Bicycle can save Humanity more than we think.
If there is a big reset because of the dete, states will gargantuanly use in people's accounts. Hope I will guard my bikes and have a exchange money to meet the needs of my family then.
Everybody his thing to get out of the collapse, no ?
It's naive to believe that this is not going to happen
Do you find me completely insane?

  • Pretty much finished.

  • Mixte

    Not mixte.

Mixte has two thin tubes running from the head tube to the dropouts:

  • Would love a featherweight single speed setup with one of those. Unf.

  • I think I do in a way... we're all here for a reason.

  • A passion like you say my friend !
    cheers

  • Gotta learn to bar spin
