• People might buy them for the freehub, plastic caps and end caps etc. if nothing else as those wheels are pretty common. And there might be people out there with lightly used but expensive 18h rims (Zipp etc.?), spokes to spare and broken flanges who want a cheap hub as a stop gap. 20h rims are much more plentiful too so the rear might be a goer. Maybe I can build an aero-but-heavy wheelset like for TT sort of stuff. Think I'll hold onto them and do some scouring on the internet for now but maybe I'm just in denial

(they were free so no great loss if I have to donate them somewhere)

  • People might buy them

They might, but you'll be sitting on them for a while before you find that one person who can be bothered to resuscitate his entry level factory wheels with a guts transplant, and when you do you'll have met a fellow cheapskate who won't want to part with more than £10 including postage 😀

  • Lol, probably right.

Anyway, again, I'm not a cheapskate, just poor! I need to let out my tinkering urges somehow and that means ultra-cheap parts for the time being

Poor enough that £10 inc. postage is worth having
