I had thought about trying this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOSEEK-1-1-8-Mountain-Bike-Fork-Carbon-Fiber-Disc-Brake-Rigid-Bicycle-MTB-Forks/173325916519?hash=item285b079967:m:m4llTfwb634KaoKnQfqxpsQ
But can't figure out what the extra 25mm A-C and smaller rake would do to the handling
Did you go for this? I have a Straggler fork to swap onto my Steamroller, but wondering whether a 27.5 inch one of those might be a better option.
That would fit 700cc plus a 35mm tyre?
Not yet, but it's still the plan.
27.5 version of the fork is a great idea for a steamroller, only 5mm difference in fork length. Surly reckon 650x42 is the max for the 650 straggler but I reckon you'd fit 700x38 if it's 5mm taller than the steamroller fork
