Is that even from this year?

Next world champ then ? Start planning bc use that money from the girls team you never started.

• #1229
^^It's from today. Evil Sky helping out their ex-riders.

Official TDF twitter said he was hitting 41km/h on 4% in that attack

Drafting or something more petty like a thumbs up?
-
• #1232
They give him a wheel?
-
• #1233
Bof.
Motors. Drugs. Welsh cakes. -
• #1234
'irregular material aid to another team's rider' like when Porte got that wheel from Greenedge.
-

I don't know. I heard a rumour that Eddy Boss, as his close friends and strangers call him, suffers badly from wind and Knaven stopped at the side of the road to 'burp' him. But that's probably just tittle tattle.

For a sport that has so many gentlemans agreements helping a rider out seems ridiculous.

Rod Ellingworth waited for Cav to finish because it's really dusty in here

Cycling Podcast talking like the Tour was decided today. Dumolin the only one who looks like he could beat Sky.

That’s exactly what I’d expect of a man.
-
• #1240
That's fucking done me.

Just in case anyone was curious, that’s what the app says as far as ‘withdrawals’. May be a boring sprint on the Champs by the end of the mountains.

I'm still at the angry and in denial stage of this.
-
• #1243
Poor Nieve. That's the take home message from the stage for me, apart from the excellent performance by Geraint "Geraint" Thomas.

• #1244
It felt a bit like la course from the day before.
-
• #1245
Lol, good point. But you can’t argue that it wasn’t as exciting (you can, but I’m not trying to make a bigger comment on the lack of representation of women’s cycling) as Le Course.
Also @tommmmmmm I was initially angry at Thomas for beating Mikey Snow, but he finished way down and was even passed by someone from the breakaway.

• #1246
Thomas will crack at some point, Froome won't.
-
• #1247
I would expect him to as well. Given how strong he looks, he’ll keep hold of the jersey for a few days at least.
Froome to relax and smash everyone in the Pyrenees.

It's a test of endurance as well as sprinting skills. Cavendish clearly didn't have the form to survive the Tour, he finished over 30 minutes outside the time limit, his exclusion is completely justified, irrespective of his past achievements.
Cycling is brutal like that.

i especially liked how he shoulder barged a few people just after he crossed the line
he doesn't appear to be very good at controlling his bike

/ anger
He wants to win the tour and he has had offers from other teams but he knows the best place to win the tour is with Sky but that leaves Froome in his way. If he wins this year I think he will stay with Sky. He can go do the classics etc and be a super Dom for him similar to what Kwia is.
