Good advice all. Very rare that I go anywhere with hills, and I'm not going to take it on the train except very rarely - it's literally a spare bike for cycling to work when my main steed is off the road, and something for my missus to borrow if she fancies. I was considering the rack not so much because of the ability to load luggage but because people say it sits better when folded, but that could be nonsense.
