GVA with a 8m lead is potentially a bit of an issue no?
-
• #1003
Nah
-
• #1004
Minute less already, 6:17. Gonna go down and then a mad attack on the last col. Maybe he’ll lead another day but will be way tired tomorrow.
-
• #1005
No. He’ll be at least half an hour down in Paris. It suits Sky as it means they don’t have to control the race.
-
• #1006
Alaphilippe’s effort is the most interesting thing so far
-
• #1007
It’s amazing
Gva is really working hard, great to see too.
Good stage.

Ned just said ‘the Wolfpack are at it again’ get in the fucking sea. Nothing more cringe than a self given nickname it’s lame.
-
• #1009
Yup that’s a real fair fight considering he won’t keep it for much longer. Good show.
-
• #1010
the dullness of this stage compared to la course is astonishing
-
• #1011
I was out getting shouted at by toffs for not being “at the side of the road”, so missed it :(
Saved a mole from getting run over tho.
Was la course awesome?

Would you compare Paris-Roubaix with the Tour?
-
• #1013
Froome attacking on descent
-
• #1014
no but i have seen several test matches
-
• #1015
Badminton?
-
• #1016
Except they seem to be controlling the race anyway as if they were in yellow
-
• #1017
But you’re comparing a test match with a 20/20 game.
-
• #1018
Is GVA still going to be in yellow?
-
• #1019
Yes, he will gain time.
-
• #1020
Wolfpack is such a wanky name
-
• #1021
The last time a MTBer jumped the Tour. Today ended better. 2002, Galibier
-
• #1022
Of course, that’s how they ride. But they don’t have to as long as they don’t have yellow, and they can leave BMC to handle the stage start tomorrow to let the break go.
-
• #1023
Did Bernal drop Wout?
-
• #1024
And Zakarin Majka Jungels Uran? Fucking hell
-
• #1025
Yes and they weren't riding to chase down GVA much either.
Finally watching the stage. First climb and watching Sagan launch an attack and get into the break just as his potential green jersey rivals are shelled out the back. Is why the green jersey is forever his no matter how they tweak the points. I mean he sprints as quick as the so-called pure sprinters now, he never used to. Incredible really.
