minimal but usable is a 2 speed, going up to the 3 or 6 speed hub add a lot of weight. Racks suck, go for the FCB and a decent bag, the bike handles better, any luggage can stay on most of the time, you fold the back wheel under, any of the rack gets squished!
My other half has a m6l+ little human, loves it, - little human and she would have an m2 - with the Joeseph kuosac mid rise bars to make it a bit lower.
Just go test ride all the options work out what you like!
Just about to pick up a Brompton on the Cycle To Work scheme.
Torn between a totally minimal 1 speed with no mudguards and a fully loaded six speed with rack. The two kgs difference doesn't feel like it'd be very much difference to me. Any advice?
