Will reply in depth to your posts later on or tomorrow Oliver. I am not sure the euro works great but as the UK has the £ it's practically not a problem re Brexit?
Ironically, I suspect the UK might actually have done better out of the euro, being a large economy, than out of keeping the pound, but I'm no economic expert and that's probably nonsense (as I don't know to what extent the UK could have increased its exports).
