Alex Dowsett has an interesting behind the scenes video on his YouTube Channel looking at the Nationals TT. Sadly, perhaps too much of it is spent looking in awe at the camper van his sponsors provided him with (as well as a particularly long sequence which seems to focus on his girl friend's cleavage). Then again, those must be important details in a pro's preparation of a major race.

Young Welsh rider Stephen Williams, who won the Ronde d’Isere and led the u23 Giro before finishing 5th overall, will ride as a stagiare for Bahrain-Merida for the rest of the season, then turn pro with them next season.

Team Wiggins’ Mark Donovan has won today’s stage of the Giro Valle d’Aosta, one of the biggest u23 stage races. Only 19 and his first year at u23 level, but 4th at the u23 Giro and this win today will almost certainly guarantee him a pro contract.

Annemiek van Vleuten won a mountain TT in the women's Giro by two and a half minutes. Imagine how that would look in men's racing.

Imagine he wins the vuelta, giro, tour, vuelta...
And people thought Armstrong winning 7 tours in a row was suspect.

Well, Armstrong wasn't on salbutamol, so naturally had to settle for lesser achievements.
