Oss is far more of a classics specialist than Bodnar. Sagan can look after himself, if Bora have high hopes for Majka in the GC, then they should allocate the majority of their team to serve his interests today.

That’s exactly what they were saying after yesterday’s stage. They will ride for Majka.

It’s interesting, for a lot of teams today’s stage is about protecting their GC ambitions, very few of the top teams will be focused on winning the stage. If Quick-Step don’t win I’d be surprised.

I think that’s because this stage will be very hard to win due to mechanicals/flats/other shit you can’t predict and really easy to loose lots of time in GC if you’re not careful. Sort of high risk low reward situation.

He’s hardly lighting up the race himself, though i do really like him. I think the guys forget it’s road and not track racing when it’s a week of 200km of laps followed by a scratch race at the end.
