Oss is far more of a classics specialist than Bodnar. Sagan can look after himself, if Bora have high hopes for Majka in the GC, then they should allocate the majority of their team to serve his interests today.
-
• #703
That’s exactly what they were saying after yesterday’s stage. They will ride for Majka.
-
• #704
It’s interesting, for a lot of teams today’s stage is about protecting their GC ambitions, very few of the top teams will be focused on winning the stage. If Quick-Step don’t win I’d be surprised.
-
• #705
I think that’s because this stage will be very hard to win due to mechanicals/flats/other shit you can’t predict and really easy to loose lots of time in GC if you’re not careful. Sort of high risk low reward situation.

EF are riding Synapses with 30mm Victoria Corsa Control tubs.
-
• #707
Lads, let's get those bikes with the big head tubes and put -17 stems on them.
-
• #708
All Quick-Step podium. You heard it here first.
-
• #709
Yea they look fairly ridiculous alright. That's Phinneys which is a 60cm with a 150mm stem for extra ridiculousness
-
• #710
Sponsorship concerns + bike fit needs = ridiculousness. :P
-
• #711
Yea they look fairly ridiculous alright.
Nah, they look fine. Right tool for the job.
Curiously Phinney runs a -17 on his SuperSix...with a 1" spacer stack.
-
• #712
Why isn't he being thrown out of the tour for headbutting?
-
• #713
I wondered what the hell he was doing. Thought he was going for a piss, then it looked like he was going to puke, then he's cheering the bunch on.
-
• #714
Because relegation is the right punishment.
-
• #715
Kick out Gavi and the race is even more boring than kicking out Sagan.
-
• #716
You'd have to kick out Greipel too, for the incident he was demoted for.
-
• #717
Anyone know what time the first cobble part will be at roughly?
-
• #718
48km from the start, they set off at 12:35 🤷🏽♂️
-
• #719
He’s hardly lighting up the race himself, though i do really like him. I think the guys forget it’s road and not track racing when it’s a week of 200km of laps followed by a scratch race at the end.

• #720
^^So about 12 advert breaks in to the ITV coverage.
-
• #721
I'm excited about this stage. Hope it delivers.
-
• #722
Froome will attack today.
-
• #723
Exactly what I'm trying to do to my ultra bike at the moment... stupid "adventure" geo.
-
• #724
Yeah it is. The fuckwits.
-
• #725
They need consistent rules with consistent punishments, not the random bullshit they seem to drag out every year depending on which rider has done the naughty.
Alright then, looks like they’re set for the stage. Let us hope there will be no major crashes/injuries today.
Today is a stage where Le Tour can be lost.
