Dier did all the hard work and then denied by Toby. Should be 1-1
Toby??
Corney dear chap, your nicknames are most endearing but should be kept to Tottenham players and staff.
Edit
Oh just seen. Thought you were giving T-bo a new name.

Infinitely?
I'd like to see your working on that pls.Especially as spurs won 4th place.

Saw your edit but will respond anyway.
Toby is his first name and I use it as I never get the spelling right for his surname, and it’s a bit of a faff having to google and then copy and paste on the phone..
I think I’ve got vertonghen down, but I get the fear with that one as well.. -

Re: Ingerlund
All build up and set pieces, no penetration in the final third... Who does waistcoatman get in to fix that? -
• #145457
Wenger

Hazard, KDB, and modric. As in, players of that level are required.
I've been seriously impressed by hazard at the world cup. I don't get time to watch enough football properly. His willingness to show for the ball, to take it, and to keep running and making sensible decisions probably means he's leaving the EPL doesn't it? Which is a shame.

@Tenderloin
Thanks for the statbomb links. -

We wanna keep him, will only entertain offers of £200m and over apparently...
We need a centre forward who can score goals desperately, I think we can work with what we have in other departments... Sarri will pick his favourites, maybe he'll turn RLC into our new number 9, who knows?

Rlc as the English fenomeno. You read it here first.

As the world cup comes to a close, lots of transfer talk, especially around Chelsea and who Sarri would want to get in (Higuain/Koulibaly/Golovkin/Rugani/Alisson). And the numbers for players isn't small. Serious question, but how can the board justify the new manager outlay/backing for Sarri, when one of the reasons for Conte becoming grumpy was the lack of investment in the squad, after he won the league.
Acknowledgement that to keep Hazard they need to improve the squad or that they won't be able to challenge for League/Top four, and get far in Europa League unless they spend? -
• #145465
Speculate about your own team...
-
• #145466
we're currently being used as stalking horses for players to get better contracts/clubs to get bigger transfer fees, there endeth the speculation..
-
• #145467
Tibo and Eden will both be at the Bernabeu in twelve months... Unless Sarri does something amazing this season...
Tibo is being mercenary and looking for even more than the £200k per week that's already on the table... We could give him that then cash in next season unless he's already done a deal with Real and is going to piss off on a Bosman...
I'm not sure Real will cough up the £200m for Hazard this summer, they'd rather have Mbappe or Neymar but that may not be possible til next season... Interesting times... Kante to PSG? Willian off as well? We'll see...

• #145468
Anyway, cobbles... Porte out, wow...
-
• #145469
yeah saw that. wonder if he'll ever get a chance at winning a grand tour..

Doesn't Thibault want to go back to Madrid as that's where his kids are?
-
• #145471
Will Liverpool's season last as long as Richie Porte's TdF?
-
• #145472
Yeah... I'd be happy to cash him in now and sign Alisson Becker from Roma, he can fuck off... He's been playing this will I/won't I stay game for the last couple of years... His stock is high right now so it would be a good time to sell, I'm sure Real would prefer De Gea but we'll see what happens...
-
• #145473
Actually, I think we're gonna lose both our Belgians this summer... Talk of a £30m offer from Real for Tibo, we may have to take it...
We've got another Hazard anyway...
-
• #145474
Chelsea have to go all out to keep Kante and Hazard for a least 1 more season.

Tibo and Kakkers as nicknames are as bad, if not worse, than The Sheriff and Pooch
Well if we are talking £ per trophy, better than Man City and Man U and infinitely better than Tottenham and Liverpool. In fact better than teams like Stoke or Bournemouth as well. Not sure about Arsenal but suspect it might be if you weight trophies correctly.
