Murdoch has been given permission to buy the rest of Sky he does not currently own. However, due diligence or whatever the CMA call their deliberations meant that Comcast offered more than Murdoch's original bid. Quite easy to see Murdoch running any anti-May/anti-UK story as retaliation for the extra amount he will now need to pay to gain control of Sky.
