This is desperate stuff, like watching a club run.

It's on days like this where I miss dear old Duffers.

Hopefully the sprint makes up for this snoozefest

The tennis is good today!

Been sat here since lunch time. Racing has been as bad as the rain, and somehow the rain today smells like cat piss.

Right thing to do is join a retirement team like Trek now.

Yeah he seemed to clip/touch someone (sagan or kristoff?) and wobbled. I think he woulda been 4th or 5th without that touch.
Only hope is that he keeps getting angrier.
But he might have to look for non-sprint stages to try and win.

Isn't he coming from a recent series of nasty crashes and broken bones? He's probably just out of shape, doesn't necessarily mean he is completely finished as a winning rider.

He’s had a rotten season so far, but he’s not got the speed he once had. Was it 2010 when he had a poor winter and early season with the after effects of a tooth infection? Everyone wrote him off ahead of the Tour, then he won five stages.
He’s older now and bouncing back gets harder.

Seem to be some viewing stats out that suggest 5 pure sprint stages in northern France have not been a ratings winner.
Yeah, that could be it.
