Lusting after a CdF big time. Would like something to replace my B'twin on longer rides I'm beginning to do (200km +) and thinking a CdF might fit the bill. Any smaller people ride one?

Are you me? This is literally exactly what I'm doing (except I'm considering other bikes too, not just a CdF. And I'm not small).
There are loads of really cheap XS or S 2017 CdFs for sale. Think the framesets can be had for under £300 if you look carefully.

I just spotted your thread! I have an Ultra 700 AF (which replaced my Triban 3 which I massively regret getting rid of) but it's not the comfiest bike over longer distances, and I'd love to get something with discs, and we all know steel is real. Thinking I could use the 105 bits off my B'Twin and buy the disc brake and other bits. Hmmm.

Yeah, that's what I'm doing. Rim brakes -> cable discs and compressionless outers seems like a great upgrade path! Especially if your 105 stuff is in decent nick.
Plus building a bike from frameset up is great fun

There is a secondhand XS CdF in Deens Garage in Beckenham. Give them a call to see if they've still got it. It's the rust colour.

Cheers! Yeah, I'm a fan of quill stems actually so I like the way this one looks - credit to @spotter for the suggestion.
By the way, your CdF has been a source of inspiration and I've been thinking of converting the Tiagra chainset to 1x10 with a superstar chainring like you did. How have you been finding that set up? And what size/type chainring bolts did you use for that?

I knew he'd approve, looks great. Much appreciated sir, to be honest I'm not sure why I didn't go 1x sooner, I really like the simplicity and the gaps between gears don't bother me. I'm pretty sure from looking at this image I was able to use the standard bolts from my 6800 chainset.

Hi everyone!
I have a Charge Plug 5 frame and i'm using a steel Genesis Croix de Fer fork in it (colonel mustard color):
Sadly the biggest tyre I can fit in the frames is a 38, but I think I could squeeze in something bigger in the front fork.
Hoping someone has experience here, what is the biggest 622 tyre I can fit in this fork without fenders?
I think 40s would fit in no problem, but I would like something bigger, 43-45 if possible. 43 mil GravelKings would be awesome. -

Alternatively anyone used a Cane Creek headset to convert a 1 1/8th ahead set to accept a tapered fork?

It's an external headset isn't it? Won't work. You need a 44mm headtube to use that Cane Creek

External as opposed to integrated or whatever
If you have an integrated bottom headset and 1⅛" steerer you can switch to the Cane Creek external headset and tapered fork. If it's external bottom headset and 1⅛" you're buggered. Think that's the rule of thumb.

If you have integrated, the headtube has bearing cups already in, The cane creek requires press 15mm depth. You’d have to have an internal headset which has separate press in cups that you could take out.

Ok 44mm is more like a MTB head tube size.
I am looking for one in this colourway in a large. far and few between
