Fresh set of 25mm GP4000 sii's arrived this morning. I was initially thinking of taking one of the better used tyres off the bike as a spare but the amount of stuff I'm taking seems to be growing by the day. Do any of you fine people bother?
You’re riding across an entire continent on 25c?
I've got 28mm gp4000s but on the rims they measure almost 32mm which I thought seemed excessively big!
Tried and well tested.
a pal of mine tore his sidewall on day 2 on TCRno4
the nearest french village only had 23c tires so he rode the remaining 3500km with that on his rear!
