Having recently ridden a few miles across some washboard-like fields I think I can understand why this suspension fork business is appealing to some. I've never had one. Is this any good for the money?

For £144 it’s fine, assuming XC and light trail duties.

Not sure if the 140mm refers to the travel or something else - that seems long for a recon.

Upper tubes are steel so need a bit of care - wipe with an oily rag after a wet ride - to prevent corrosion.
