I do this
It's a bit lumpy, because it includes most of the Potters Bar route but if you went left at Tylers Causeway and down Cucumber Lane to Effingham it would be less lumpy

It ends on the Cole Green Way which is a lovely little tarmaced path (you have to stop on the bypass and find the little path down to the Way, but it's worth it)

Gonna ride out.
Just had a bash at drawing a route up and thinking I should have brought the on trend gravel bike instead. If anyone has a tried and tested route out to Welwyn that suits skinny tyres can you pm over please?
