I've acquired a new 12mm through axle for my Arkose. Rather than being a QR type with a leaver, it just has a socket for an allen head.
When I bolt it up I get the sense it's a mm or two too long, and the fork legs are not clamping the hub as the thread hits the bottom of the bolt on the drive side.
Will I die if I use additional spacers on the non drive side to push the head of the axle outwards and thus get some clamping force? It comes with 1 12mm ID washer - can I use more?
