I don't know about that. Dembele, twinkle toes with the build of a fridge and the speed of a man, was shit. Mertens came on and made more of an impact, I know I know maybe dembele was doing stuff that wasn't visible.
If Lukaku had balls he'd be my aunty's granny I know, but there were more chances for him when mertens was on.

The thing is, I don't think Lukaku was outstanding against Brazil either.
I think Big Centre Forwards are almost superfluous in teams like this, like a Plan B that skilful Number 10s or wingers can use if cutting in or running in behind isn't an option.
It doesn't really matter if he's a bit shit if you've got an Mbappe or an Hazard/de Bruyne who are that incisive in their passing and running.
