I thought exactly the same. Calling it pathetic that he tried to play on, and then went down. No doubt they'd have said the same if he went down straight away without trying to play on!
It’s more the end of the jawbone, easily broken. That will be sore for days.
That is the whole point of concussion it doesn't kick in straight away. That was the equivalent of a boxing uppercut.
