The inquest is happening. According to witness testimony, he may have been clipped from behind when overtaking. One witness seems to have seen this as 'a sudden swerve'. He's also being reported to have had no front brake (and, presumably), brakeless, although nothing is said about a possible rear brake.

Its all the more unbelieveable if it was a left hand drive hgv...
Someone asked how come change seems so slow? From what I've seen the organisations [tfl/dft] are huge. To get anything done takes a years worth of meetings. I don't think it helps that so many decision makers are non cyclists and do not dwell in this city. Not for here, I know but it frustrates.
