52mm Ricta Clouds! I don't know much about wheels but he said these are great for cruising about on a recommended them. 78 durometer. Probably could have done with being a tad larger, but very excited about my early morning jaunt. Got some Bones Reds bearings in, as thought a fiver for bearings was a bit too cheap!. Just saw a bus driver round the back of the apartments as theres a new bus station there, he was watching me wobble about, and I explained I was getting back into it. He said, go on then give us a demo. I said it's still a bit early for that! I'd forgotten how much difference there is between tarmacs in terms of rolling.

Smacked my arm this morning, got gawped at by kids in Maccy D's, the stragglers from a night out God knows where staring into iphones expecting a fat Tony Hawk. Knocked milk bottles over when the board went one way flying down a road and me the other, I dutifully put back. Grinning like a fool with a sore elbow. It was fun. Much more confident pushing with one foot, takes some getting used to that.

Well got my Evisen deck today, so out for a spin tomorrow, guy slipped with the wrench tightening up the trucks, and gave it its first battle scar, I said I'm not bothered, as it's saved me from getting too precious about it! Looks great and popped some decent bearings in, an upgrade from the cheapskates I was going to get put in. This is going to be fun...
