Aint got nothing but a GT'hang baby

So ive decided to build a geared commuter bike..

Story behind this bike:
I bought it online called shpock
And been on the garage for 5 years
The groupset seems to work the only issue is the seatpost was seized....
Ill sort that out when im done finding the groupset...

What i need:
●groupset 11 speed
(Sram or shimano)
● quill stem black 110mm sorted
●compact dropbar sorted
●1 inch black headset threaded sorted
●bartape sorted

GTs are always nice. Mudguard mounts as well. Is it gonna have mudguards?

Yeah mudguard is a must and ive sorted that already from @Scrabble

Good question, i dont use 1 inch adaptor to fit ahead stem nope nope....

Yes..but i think ill stick with shimano as my two road bike has already so i reckon 6800?

SRAM Force would be adequate here, no? I'm such a sucker for this GT... I have an alloy force but would like a steel one instead....

And for stem options, how bout' that:

Get the better entry level mate 6800 ive read some reviews re. The rival 22 and im not convince to go with that....
