Sorry to hear the circumstances - interested in the frame though.
If no one shows interest based on collection, then I would like to discuss postage options.Good luck and tia,

Hi Rogier,
Hope the move went well!
I'm racing the Transcontinental so not all bad. It's a good thing but temporary shortage of funds dictates sale of everything :)
Sure, no problems, will see if there's any local interest and come back to you if OK! -

Sure no problem.
Yep, move went well - thanks for asking.
And I wish you all the best for the TCR, sounds like a BIG challenge! -

Sold! Send me some pics when it's built up please!
Right, the children have eaten all my money and I need money for the TCR at the end of the month and, whilst I can't bring myself to sell my other Hobbs', I'd like to offer this up to raise some money to eat.
Would like it to stay in the forum and see it built up. Purchased it from the original owner from Gravesend.
The cranks look to be Williams (or a Williams copy) , the brakes are GB Sport Mk2 from 1955 and the BB is a nice Bayliss Wiley number. Not sure what the headset is. Definitely not Lytaloy but looks like is might be a combination of several different ones put together. Possibly some Brampton in there. As I'm a GC however, I'll include a Lytaloy nut but not an engraved one. I could also include a Lytaloy lamp bracket for £25.00 as I have a few which is a fraction of its value.
Not original paint obvs but enough parts to get you rolling at low cost. Enough patina (a little but not deep surface spots) to give you credibility in VCC circles. Nothing to worry about IMHO and add to its charm.
Peter Lowry (VCC Hobbs guru) confirms that it's a September 1946 Clubweight. Fillet brazed, mudguard mounts and an attachment for light bracket.
Fork crown is quite a bit pointier than than my '47.
Collection from SE6. I'd like £60.00 please for everything you see below (except catalog)
Have a look at the only known copy of the Hobbs catalog (that I own) from 47 that talks about scarcity of post war bike parts.
58" CTC TT. Sounds big but its not really. I'm 5ft 11 and fists me fine.
Made to be ridden with only a fist full of post.
