Solicitors are blaming vendors solicitors now.
We asked them a question that required no input from vendor at all and got'Unfortunately I did not conduct the title check or raise the enquiries in question, your question has been forwarded to the legal team.
I have been informed we can not answer any of your questions until the sellers provide their responses.'
Why don't i work in such a doss profession?

Are they a legal sausage factory ? I.e not a local solicitor and you are paying 4/500 quid for the job?

They were recommended by someone but theyre not local no.
Made slight progress today on our major works renegotiation.
Vendor is refusing any change in price on the grounds 'works are uncosted and 5 years in the future, and you'll see all the benefit'Has also insisted that due the the type of building she 'can't imagine it being more than 5000' which, of course she'd say

Does anyone have a clue what this white plastic box with a switch and a load of pipes running into it that lives in the eaves behind our upstairs bathroom and won't stop making an interminable droning noise with the odd series of clunks all fucking night and day? Imagine it's some manner of plumbing related contraption. As you can see, i turned it off at the switch and that's shut the fucker up, obviously I'd prefer if it wasn't switched off as it presumably performs some vital function, just not sure what as the toilet still flushes and hot water comes out the taps. Any ideas?
Immersion heater? Doesn't explain the hot water coming out the taps.

It’s a macerator isn’t it?
-
• #24443
I would start by googling the name on that sticker, I can't read it from here...

^ i think you're right. we don't use the upstairs toilet but that said, i'll get someone in to have a look. that said, i can't imagine any plumber wanting to take a poo blender to bits.

Saniplus macerator/pump...
-
• #24446
As TooTallTim says it is a macerator. It is full of shit and piss and possibly dental floss/wet wipes/johnnies and tampons.
If it’s in trouble get it sorted soon as, because when those things go wrong, they can go very wrong -

thanks chaps.
i don' think either of us have "used" the upstairs since we moved in 4 months ago - but yeah, i'm on it. so to speak. who knew that living in a loft extension was like living on a fucking yacht.
suffice to say i now know more about hidden poo grinders now than i ever hoped.
switched the noisy boi off in the meantime.
