It is. Look engineers took too much of the Kool-Aid and started putting the preload adjuster under the stem

To be fair to them I haven’t touched it in five years and it’s still as smooth and free of play as day 1.

Waiting for new bars to get here, then all it needs is a chain, tape and cables.

If they're like the 10-speed ones the little knobs on the hoods fit into holes on the lever. It's quite easy to cover up the holes with bar tape if you aren't aware that it's going to cause a problem.

Going to adjust your cable length?

Yes, modified SRAM Apex to 12 speed.

Not sure about the cable length, had a shorter outer on there but that gave me shifting issues.
