I don’t have the same seat post, just one with a very similar clamping method and that’s how it is on mine. Just be careful :)

Yeah, this a pedal strike issue.

Is there any free software that lets you create simple flows charts which a Visio user can open up in Visio?

Getting decal goo off matte carbon rims: is acetone nail polish remover safe to use? Is there anything better?
-

Is there anything better?
D-limonene to get the goo off, isopropanol to get the d-limonene off. Acetone is no worse for the carbon or you, I just find the d-limonene more effective.

Q-factor has a bigger impact than shortening cranks if you can do that somehow. Although I have no trouble with 165s on mine I did find the handling worse with a higher BB so got smaller tyres to help with that.

Yeah my current cranks are 172.5 so I think I can make a difference with them, just going down to 165 and some slimmer pedals.

This worked loose and happened on commute home last night. Any ideas for getting it out the pedal please?

Loosen the tension off on the pedal and then use mole grips?

Removing the three Phillips head screws might pop off the front on the clipping mechanism.

If you can get an adjustable spanner on the flat sides of the "bean shaped" bit and take it clockwise you may be able to release it. Or do a similar movement with a pair of pliers on the little tab at the back of the cleat.

consider some thread lock on the screws when putting it back :)

Can I just turn up and ride at Lee Valley MTB? Looking at their website I can only find reference to paid, coached sessions.
-
• #92341
Yea you can just turn up. Pay on the door if you are feeling honest.

Cheers! If I went after work tomorrow are there lockers where I could stash my bag (with MBP in, so somewhere secure enough for that)?

Italians, italy lovers and travellers alike.
7 or 8 nights in italy, likely mid-late September, want 2 or 3 places, never been to italy before, no interest in rome or venice.
Want food, wine, light walking, pool, where should I go?

Just about to pull the trigger on a Fairlight Strael - thinking Rival 1x11 but the new 105 might be available soon for the same price. My question is, will the 1x be okay? I’m mostly aiming to do club runs, general riding and some light touring. Live in Bath so there are plenty short but nasty hills around.

Tuscany. Arezzo would be a good choice.

Ordered both as I have a couple of slipping posts. BSP 97 arrived and worked perfectly this evening.
Cheers

I would go for the lakes, we went for Lake Garda as accommodation was a little cheaper.
Ah cool, so it is just a bit of force.
Found something on Canyon's site too (though it's a Rose)
