SO... still recovering from knee pain 3 years on but building my new Steed. I'll add pics of the parts and then the complete build once ready.
56cm Gun Metal Grey Pre Cursa Frameset (Alpina Carbon Fork and inline Seat Post)
Sugino RD 2 - 165mm Cranks
sugino sealed 103mm Bottom bracket
TA Specialties - 49t Chainring (130BCD as all my spare chainrings are 13oBCD)
Stronglight Steel chainring Bolts (no messing about rounding out Alloy bolts like before)
Halo Aerotrack front Wheel
Halo Aerotrack Double Fix G Rear Wheel
Halo Fat foot/tooth HG Spline Cog 15, 17, 19, 20 (No messing about with Chainwhips and HG Spline Lockring head couldn't be easier also perfect chainline when needed)
quite happy with a KMC Z510 Chain for now. Cheap and cheerful
White/Black - Fizik Performance bar tape
BMC RDB 3 - 42cm Road Handlebar - still undecided if I will stick with this or go back to track bars
FSA Stem
White selle San Marco ponza power saddle
conti - innertubes
Conti Gatorskin Hardshell
Shimano R540 SPD SL
Sadly need a front brake due to knee for now.
Silver Goldfinger
Shimano brake lever
Anyway Excited to start back and get out there again slowly but better than the tube. Yay. Spinny gearing until knees feel stronger. I'll be the Caribbean guy getting dropped by grannies with baskets with a huge smile. As I made it out of the oblivion of "You'll never ride a fixed gear bike again" to slow but skinny.
I'll take it happily.
Stay tuned for the pics. One Love.
