It tends to be a problem caused by people moving close to long established circuits and then complaining about the noise. Most people that have lived there a decent amount of time tend not to care. My dad used to organise trackdays at Croft and they always managed to run lots of noisy days which were great. Then, the circuit got taken to court by one of the circuit owners ex-wife and her parents who, co-incidently, lived not far from the circuit, and had an injunction slapped on limiting them to 40 noisy days a year.

As in I would have thought it'd be a case of 98db and that's it.
