EDIT - Having been to the Rapha store and tried on some medium bibs, I have to accept that they fit me better, so shorts added.

Don’t Rapha offer a decent discount on kit if you’ve lost weight through cycling and therefore need to replace it all?

Yeah, they do but some of the stuff is too old (over a year) or bought through friends and family discount by a friend who no longer works at Rapha so I don't have proof of purchase/ want to take the piss.

Interested in either core or remaining lightweight jersey. I’m a large in classic, v tall and protean large is usually to small: do you think either will fit?

Where are you based? I'm happy for you to come and try them on. I think the Core is similar fit to the classic range.

Laying them flat, the following jerseys are all pretty much the same size across the chest.
SUPER LIGHTWEIGHT JERSEY - L - GRY/PINK
CORE JERSEY - L - PALE BLUE
CLASSIC FLYWEIGHT JERSEY - L - DEEP BLUE/GREEN

All three are a bit wider than the PRO TEAM FLYWEIGHT JERSEY - L - but not by much. Generally the pro team is tighter all over and a bit shorter.
