Anyone got a link for a full replay of the penalty shootout? I want to show it to my son in the morning.

Ok - wishes for Sweden game.
If the manager believes we really have greater quality and class than Sweden there is no point/need trying to fight conservative efficiency with conservative efficiency.
Rose for Young
RLC for Alli
Either Vardy or Rashford for Sterling
I think Henderson was largely anonymous this eve but I'm not sure we can play that system without him/Dier for fear of exposing CBs though he did go missing a lot tonight and there wasn't much being mopped up in front of the CBs so perhaps RLC can play as a holding midfielder (a la Dembele). -

enjoyed that performance from England. Played well and stood strong. Much more mentally tough than the Lampards and the Rooneys etc that will sit in the tv studios and assess their performances as if they ever managed to perform when it mattered. Colombia were a shambles and brought nothing to that game at all. Stand out performances from Kane and Maguire but all told solid stuff from everyone.

Some white plastic chairs to get thrown around. Seriously what sort of World Cup is this?

Are you sure you want to do that? Have only found this in Spanish https://streamgoals.com/video/d58d2d6b44

In 1990 England were doing well in the World Cup but the country was being fucked over by Thatcher. She finally stepped aside in November that year.
Clutching at straws here but there is hope we might get rid of May before the year turns. -

that volley and save got lost in the celebrations but was a great bit of football the shot and the save.

Shows he's matured a bit but still nowhere near as good as Costa...
40% poseur, 60% striker...

Watching the replay now (only caught the last 15mins and penos this morning), 73mins in and I've gotta agree with @clintsmoker, Ingerlund do look pretty solid... Kane is doing a great job as captain...

Plus whoever said Uruguay would spank Brazil's arse is bang on, team of the tournament for me...
Also the Colombian team doing nothing for their nation's PR, what a bunch of cunts... I know the Colombian friends and family I have will agree...

Jokes on them. They looked most threatening when they gave up the shithousery and actually played some football.
-
• #144773
I want Uruguay to, I'm not sure they will be allowed to because of Brazilian shithousery.
England look solid, not inspiring but solid. The team all sound measured and stable and supportive.
I just wish they could take the half chances they're getting (lindgard in particular, there felt like a couple of opportunities to just push a bit harder and take the shot).
Also : Colombia should have played football rather than trying to stop us from playing. They looked quite good.Still no goals from open play.
Rose playing against a tired team is not the same as playing against a fresh team. I like Young's mix of cynicism, professionalism. I don't like his free kicks though. -

Oh aye, Uruguay a team that are the very embodiment of the Corinthian Spirit, will be undon by Brazilian shithousery.
