Any comments on the routing of brake cables
Feels a little too short but that's personal, or at least rear brake outer should elevate as much as front brake outer, judging by picture... Many different "rules" out there about it. Look at classic bikes photos, find the set up you like best and copy.
Personally I'd keep the "suicide brake" extensions, levers look odd when removed. It's only suicidal if you can't appreciate it'll give you less power than getting in the drops, still useful, and representative of an era.
Does the "no leather" rule also apply to vintage saddles?

Any comments on the routing of brake cables greatly appreciated. And I’m sorry I keep asking so many questions - learning a lot though and your input really helping me along!
