Sure! In this instance my left leg is weaker and over compensating for it causing a tight IT and resulting in knee pain (as diagnosed). Got some strengthening exercises I'm not doing enough of but, I actually wanna try giving the leg less opportunity to float about to see if it helps with this. Past experience of riding Keo's was totally problem free (as was SPD-SL). SPD's seem to have caused a few more niggles than road cleats ever did... Am I a mutant?
Keos gave me more knee pain than SPD.
I’d look at your fit rather than changing pedals. Once you’re clipped in what’s the difference?
Saddle height, set back and cleat position first. After that get speedplays coz free float is lovely on the joints.
Edit: contradicted myself a bit there. Keos with the cleats I had, had less angle of float and I couldn’t get them set up right.
