does such a thing exist?
Yes, but since the slide and worm are as thick as a normal adjustable spanner, it will take up just as much space in your tool box as a #tester_approved pile of individual cone spanners.

Dangit. Now I have to decide which spanners I really need.
What's the cheapest approved 32mm (or 30mm?) headset spanner then? And spanners for hub cones/nuts, and pedals?
I will assume that I'll never have to deal with a threaded 1 1/8" headset but if those ones that fits 4 sizes of headset nut are okay that'd be good
I want an adjustable spanner that is slim enough to tighten a headset (under a second spanner), pedals, cones, etc. - does such a thing exist? I'd prefer a single adjustable one to a set of rigid ones really as I don't have the space in my meagre toolbox.
Something like this but, ahem, cheaper if possible. Or if I have to spend that much, a bit of reassurance that it won't be totally shit.
Expected response: "get non-adjustable ones you pillock"
