Auchentoshan is just north of the airport. I'd hit that and then turn around. Or Glengoyne is a bit further but worth the trip...though perhaps not if you have to drive afterwards. Otherwise, I don't think there's anything of note south of Glasgow.

I have a wedding to attend later this year, near Dumfries (near is a relative term...)
Flying into Glasgow, picking up a rental car, driving down to Dumfries.
Hoping to pit stop in a distillery with a tour/store to grab a couple of bottles of the good stuff.
Anyone know of any in that vague area?
