Uh, how strange that these headset photos are making me lust after a traditional steel bike again.
Damn London and its only room for 2 bike housing.

This is how she has been for the past 2 months. In full winter trainer mode. Really enjoying the ride.

Those headsets (Saiko by Kowalski) are still available to buy in his small shop near Poznań, Poland. They are very high but super reliable and well sealed. They appear both 1" threaded and ahead, although he mainly produce rims and wheels now. If you want some details, pm me, we can figure smth out :)

Was going to sell this. Have heartedly advertised it on some FB buy/sell pages. Reason for sale was lack of use. It looks so good though?! Think I'll keep!

how big is it? i'd probably be all over it but looks like i might be a bit lanky for it

It's around a 54/55cm square. It's got pretty standard geo even though it's a custom.

Has anyone ordered an Orlowski recently and have a vague idea of the current going rate? I don't want to waste their time pricing something for me if it turns out to be wildly out of my budget...

How recently is recently? And whats your budget? Their prices will have gone up a bit I imagine. An all bells and whistles Zona frame will probably be around 800-900

Well I tracked back through here and a couple of years ago we were looking at 800-850 EUR, I think I could possibly stretch to 1000EUR F+F (disc, sliding vertical drops, rack and guard mounts etc) but any more and I'd probably have to put it off for a bit.

(For a bit of background I'm in the market for a bit of a do everything bike, and caught between getting something OTP and having to mod to fit dynamo etc etc, or building from a cheap F+F and upgrading slowly, or getting something nice now and ever since seeing @negaatio and @Skant s' Orlowskis I've wanted one so if I can I'd like to do it now)

i paid 750€ for zona in 2013 and know that we would now ask for around 1100€

Finally, someone has done what I was thinking for a long time but was never able to afford.

I think Cannondale stole your idea 25 years ago.

The track ends are too sensible.

• #148
What's up with those angles?
-
• #149
The idea was to steal the idea from C'dale and pay Orlowski to make it happen.

That's great!
