On monday begins the opening week of les Rencontres Internationales de la Photographie in Arles. Anybody's going ?

My XA turned up and the shutter fires without me even hitting the shutter button... back it goes :-( I could merely wind to the next frame and it’d go off. hassle.... should’ve tested it before I left all the packaging at the post office!

I've got a hold of a Minolta XD11. Does anyone have any experience with this camera?
I've had 3 (2 in chrome and 1 black) of them in the past year or so, anything in particular you would like to know?
Beautiful camera, light, lovely metering, access to banging & cheap minolta MD and MC lenses
These are all off the minolta xd7/11, using the Minolta MD f1.4 50mm lens with kodak colourplus 200;edit: oh also my favourite slr of all time, makes everything so easy.

Bugger. I've had that happen with mine a couple if times and had to dismantle the shutter button to sort it.

Nice, I really like those. Sharp, but yet with traditional grain which always seems difficult to pull off.
I tried shooting HP5 both in medium format and 35mm over the winter and didn't get on with it, or didn't get anything as nice as those shots. I was sending it off to lab though, perhaps it's something I need to try again when I start home developing and can have a choice of developer.

Tiree surf
Very very nice.
Such a great vibe in these, makes me wish I had been there.Love the greys, and the way that lens renders is neat.
I'm not an expert on underwater cameras, but think this is quite nice for a camera like that.@Ste_S ..I guess "sharp, but with traditional grain" is like a hallmark of HP5. Give it a try another time.. and yea it might indeed look very different when you develop it yourself and have the possibility to use different developers.

While we're at it - this is HP5 shot at 1000, developed in Diafine.
-
• #16817
I would say this developed gives more grain than my normal process, I've had less grainy HP5 @1600 in DDX.

That's great, I really like that
Dropping in a couple of rolls of vista 200 today from my mju ii. Haven't shot on that camera for an age and with the low contrast of the vista i'm really looking forward to seeing some summery feeling snaps.
