Any question answered...

So I've got this set of nice compact 26mm bars and this Nitto Dynamic stem, and of course I can't get the stem around the bars' bends.

So my questions are:

• has anyone ever made a list of quill stems known to work well with compact bars?
  
• or a list of short reach bars known to work well with a 'traditional' quill stem?
  
  

I don't want to go down the Deda Murex road just yet, beside it's hard to find it in polished silver.
