I've just emailed Alsal about it and they reckon £20 to re-align it (so long as it isn't symptomatic of a bigger issue) so will probably go with that.
On a separate note, a quartz watch ticking every couple of seconds indicates the battery is going does it? Will changing it myself ruin the waterproofing (it's used for swimming sometimes)?
