So now Mango Bikes, that bought Vulpine, has gone under.

Vulpine could sink The Titanic. Again.

• #655
Fucking hell, the anti-Midas touch in action.
-
• #656
Lol.
-
• #657
Edit too slow.
-
• #658
Does that mean he's bought Mango, and Vulpine for £1?
Is that like paying £1 for two bags of cold shit, instead of one bag? -
• #659
Its like paying £1 to have two dead-in-the-water brands and £250,000 of debt.
-
• #660
What could go wrong?
-
• #661
They could wash the clothes and shrink the value of the business further.

BikeBiz attempted to reach out* to Harrison for a comment
*Contact, BikeBiz, you attempted to contact him.

I thought that's what journalists say to hide the fact they've been calling their relatives, sending letters to their old school friends, stalking their boss etc.

It looks like Baxendale will run vulpine as an entirely separate company, which they would've done from the off. In their email 'drop' this morning, they were showing off a new collaboration which was surprising as I thought the intention was just to flog off the old stock. Someone obviously has long term plans for Vulpine.

I dunno, some of the 'new' stuff might have been things already in the works that they didn't have cash to pay for when they launched that second funding round - I remember reading that their supplier was withholding their next batch of stock pending payment

Interesting development, BikeBiz doing there private eye bit.

In an everchanging world, it's good to know somethings never change.

I see Mr Vulpine is back in business...
-

Oh this man really gets my goat. Not that he failed at business and lost a lot of investor, hey a lot of companies do, it’s risky and difficult. Not that he still purports to be a fantastic businessman either, we all have our dillusions of grandeur.
It’s his continual criticism of other businesses on twitter. Where does he get the gall!

Now he’s selling £330 jackets that you can’t even see. No thanks, I’d honestly rather wear Superdry.
-
• #671
What's his new business?

NO HYPERBOLE - JUST INTERESTING

WHY FRAHM HAS A PUB, NOT A BLOG
This is a spoof website right?
-
• #674
Interesting - a Gustin-style model to production. That should solve his past inventory issues. Will be imteresting to see what he comes up with. Almost guaranteed to be a Harrington though.

Must be a spoof. Either way, showing prices ex.VAT is bizarre.
Anyone else get an email saying the order placed decades ago and received has now been shipped...?
